We were tasked with transforming an office space into Daily Paper's first permanent UK store in Soho, London.
The project required a comprehensive Category B fit-out to create a minimalist retail environment over two floors, complete with bespoke joinery, signage, changing rooms, state-of-the-art AV, and back of house facilities.
Daily Paper, established in 2012, is an Amsterdam-based fashion brand known for its ready-to-wear garments and accessories that blend African heritage with contemporary fashion. From humble beginnings as a blog selling branded T-shirts, the company has grown into a major trendsetter in the fashion industry.
The project transformed the existing office space through careful modifications, including demolition of internal glass partitions, replacement of outdated mechanical and lighting systems, and new flooring installation. The existing staircase was retained and enhanced as a feature element, along with the exterior vaults. The minimalist design approach showcases the brand's eclectic clothing collection, complemented by bespoke details including a mosaic entrance, custom joinery, mirrors, clothing rails, and display units.
This landmark project demonstrates our capability to deliver sophisticated retail environments while maintaining architectural features. The transformation concluded with a beautiful glass-fronted entrance and bespoke illuminated signage, creating a striking presence in this vibrant Soho location.
